Karen from Karen Hockman Interiors has two beautiful table transformations to share with you today using one of her favorite colors, Pebble Beach, as well as Bliss and Cranberry Sauce!
Hi I am Karen Hockman of Karen Hockman Interiors and I am so excited to be guest blogging for Country Chic. I hope you enjoy my creations.
I picked up this great little French Provincial table at a local consignment shop in Aldie, VA. Consignment shops can be a little more expensive than say a thrift store but I find that the quality is better. I am also obsessed with French Provincial and can rarely pass one up.
Another obsession is Country Chic's Pebble Beach, this soft grey will go with everything. I have tried many combinations and it always works. If you are new to painting and just a little afraid of color, you can't go wrong with Pebble Beach. I painted this piece with two coats of Pebble Beach and for the drawer I used Cranberry Sauce. I love the rich color.
The original hardware was perfect they way it was, so I just put it back on.
I also teach paint classes using Country Chic paint. A customer brought in this sewing table she wanted to paint.
We discussed paint options and look what we picked.
Yep, Pebble Beach with the drawers and inset at the top painted with Bliss.
Don't you just love it! Both pieces were waxed with Country Chic's natural wax for durability.
I love the look of both tables, great transformations. Till next time.
I am a single mom of two adult (well college age) kids, interior decorator, blogger, home stager, furniture transformer and DIY'er. I live in Northern Virginia, but grew up in the Florida Keys. I love a mix of coastal, modern and traditional. My tag line "Being creative is not a hobby, it is a way of life" really sums me up. You will always find me being creative somehow.
