Rachel from Maison de Pax played around with our Metallic Cream and Embossing Plaster to create this fun, personalized memo board!
Hi Country Chic Paint fans! It's Rachel again from Maison de Pax, and today I have something really special for you. I just had my first run with Country Chic's new embossing plaster and metallic accent cream, and Oh. Boy. This stuff is so fun.
Seriously, y'all (did I mention I'm from Texas?), the possibilities with this product are so many that I had to rein myself in with a simple tutorial for you today. I wanted it to highlight how easy these products are to use.
The embossing cream seemed intimidating at first, but I promise it is so simple to use.
The metallic accent cream is unique: a little like paint, a little like wax.
The combination is perfect because you can rub it on for a sheer, metallic effect or paint it on for a bold sparkle.
I even got a little wild and metallic cream-ed my chalk. ;)
You can see the full, step-by-step tutorial on my blog here, but in the meantime, one more look at what these fun products can do.
I'm Rachel from Maison de Pax, and I am so honored to be a part of the Country Chic Paint blogger squad. At Maison de Pax, we are working to renovate, redecorate, and rejuvenate our 1940 colonial to be a place where peace can be found; feel free to tour our home if you'd like. Our most recent focus has been our attic renovation, but for years I have loved to make over old file cabinets, paint mason jars, and create my own decor on a budget. With Country Chic Paint, I've already created a chippy side table, painted a "sunbleached" look, and gilded a frame... I love the endless possibilities!
