Another beautiful piece by Heidi from Lily Field Furniture! She created this vintage, shabby chic look with Liquorice and some distressing. Check out this blog post to see how she did it!
Hi guys! It's Heidi from Lily Field Furniture with a new makeover for you today! This beautiful antique dresser sat in my garage for several months while I waited for some color inspiration.
One of my clients happened to see it and swooped it right up! So thankful she picked classic black because I think it was the perfect choice for this piece. After fixing up some of the chipped veneer I painted it with Country Chic Paint in Liquorice.
I'm still amazed every time I use this paint at how quickly it dries! The day I painted this dresser it was cooler and rainy but the paint was still completely dry in an hour! That's awesome news for someone like me (ie impatient)! After the dresser was dry I distressed it, sealed and added some fun glass hardware to accent the original.
Now for some after photos!
Thanks for taking the time to check out this before and after!
Hello! My name is Heidi and I am the face behind Lily Field Furniture. I spend my days being a wife and mom and my late nights in the garage painting away! I absolutely love the job that I have and have so much fun with the process of thrifting and then refinishing furniture in a creative way. It's so rewarding to see the amazing transformation that just a little paint can make!
