Stacey from Embracing Change was inspired by one of our bloggers to create this gorgeous buffet in Pebble Beach with pretty Vanilla Frosting accents. Don't you love how it turned out?
I was so inspired by a buffet that had been made over on the blog Rooms For Rent with Country Chic Paint in Pebble Beach that I had to find a buffet to paint in that same color as well.
Here is the inspiration picture that I tagged from Bre's blog...
Isn’t it gorgeous?
You can find out more about this lovely buffet HERE. I suppose it is easy to understand how I could be inspired :) I began the search for a buffet to paint.
Luckily, Craigslist pulled through. I found this charming old beauty on the site for sale…
I snatched her up which was fortunate because I think the seller had received some 20 + responses about this piece. I was very excited to open my paint and get to work!
I used a combination of Country Chic’s Pebble Beach and Vanilla Frosting on this buffet and sealed it up in Country Chic’s Natural Wax. I added some beautiful cut glass knobs from D. Lawless Hardware.
I am pretty pleased with how lovely she came out.
I think she is a beauty now…the paint brought out all her loveliness that was hidden.
From ugly duckling to swan…that is how I like to do it!
For more great makeovers, stay tuned right where you are and be sure to follow along on Country Chic’s Facebook page…and be sure to hop over to my blog home at Embracing Change to follow me there!
My name is Stacey and I blog about my creative endeavors at Embracing Change. I dabble in blogging about my family and my faith as well as some crafts and recipes although my blog is primarily about painting and bring old and ugly furniture back to life. I love finding an old, ugly piece of furniture and making it pretty and new. It is my creative passion! My day job is being a mommy to two sweet girls and married to a pastor working alongside of him in ministry. Painting is what I do in my free time and for fun. My hobby has developed into a side creative endeavor as well and I have established The Blessed Nest whereby I now sell my creations to those that also have a love for all old things made new!
