Lindsay from My Creative Days turned this shutter cabinet into a fun piece with a bold color combo with a bit of help from our limited edition color, Orangesicle!
Hello Country Chic Paint readers! It is Lindsay from My Creative Days here to share an "Orangesicle" project with you. I am really excited about the Limited Edition colors County Chic Paint is offering. There are some really fun colors!
For my "Orangesicle" project, I used this shutter cabinet. I picked it up at a yard sale along the highway while we were heading to explore some caves at a park about an hour away. I think sales that you just "come across" or that are off the beaten path are some of the best sales ever!
I chose "Orangesicle" for this cabinet because of the great green color that was on this inside. I thought the green and the "Orangesicle" would look great together!
I think the colors really compliment each other.
I added some Antiquing Wax to the piece in the end and "glitzed" up the wood knobs with metallic spray paint.
This shutter cabinet has come a long way. The "Orangsicle" color makes it fun. It would be great in a little girl's room or as a TV stand in a living room or back porch.
