Sarah from Life on Virginia Street transformed her old dark buffet into a fresh, clean white TV stand for her movie room!
I had this buffet table in our last house that we used as a TV stand. In our current home, the black felt a bit harsh so I figured it was time for a makeover so I could use it in my newly decorated/multi-tasking craft and movie room. Here's the stand before:
I decided to use Simplicity on the stand because I wanted it to be a bright, clean white. The paint didn't disappoint! Because I was covering such a dark piece of furniture, I ended up applying three coats and finished with the natural wax. I love how it turned out! The original hardware wasn't doing the piece justice so I spray-painted all of it with gold paint. It is the perfect compliment to the bright white surface and wood-toned top!
The stand is now the perfect accessory in my new space!

Really anything that has absolutely nothing to do with my day-to-day office life. We just purchased our third home and are in the process of making it truly "ours"!
