Maple Vanity Makeover {guest post}

July 19, 2014

Stacey from Embracing Change is on a roll! She's back with another lovely vanity, this time in Vanilla Frosting.

Hi again!

I am back with yet another makeover...you would think I am always painting, huh?

A friend emailed me about a piece of furniture she had been offered but opted not to buy. She contacted me to see if I would be interested. Here is the exact picture that she sent me:

Of course I said that I was interested! It was a darling vanity full of so many possibilities. My goal was a lovely vanity perfect for any sweet girl's bedroom...

I chose to use Country Chic's Vanilla Frosting.

This is a fabulous color that offered me great coverage...just two coats and I was done!

I distressed her a bit and sealed her in Country Chic's Natural Wax.

She is super adorable now, don't you think?

Needless to say, she sold pretty quick. Obviously someone else thought she was pretty special too.

I would love if you followed me at Embracing Change!

Stacey {Embracing Change}

My name is Stacey and I blog about my creative endeavors at Embracing Change. I dabble in blogging about my family and my faith as well as some crafts and recipes although my blog is primarily about painting and bring old and ugly furniture back to life. I love finding an old, ugly piece of furniture and making it pretty and new. It is my creative passion! My day job is being a mommy to two sweet girls and married to a pastor working alongside of him in ministry. Painting is what I do in my free time and for fun. My hobby has developed into a side creative endeavor as well and I have established The Blessed Nest whereby I now sell my creations to those that also have a love for all old things made new!
