These fun numbered stairs were created by Lindsay from My Creative Days. She used Liquorice and brass address markers.
Hello, CCP readers. It is Lindsay from My Creative Days back to show you our latest home project - painted and numbered stairs!
We live in a split-foyer home. That means that we have stairs going up and stairs going down as soon as you come in our front door. I am not a fan of our entry, but I do love that the stairs give me another spot to "decorate" (and redecorate and redecorate - they have been painted three times ;-) ).
A few weeks ago, I painted our front door "Liquorice" and shared it on the Country Chic Paint Blog here.
I loved the classic look the black paint gave our door so I decided to change the stairs in our entry to match. Before I painted the stairs "Liquorice", they were painted a few different colors.
That was fun, but I really have been on a mission to change a lot of things in our home and the stairs were part of the mission (especially after the change to the front door). So, the stairs are now painted "Liquorice" to match the door.
For a long time, I have wanted numbers on the stairs that go upstairs. Now, they do!
I am so happy with them. The black color is a great change too. I don't think I will be painting our stairs for awhile now. ;-) On to the next project...
