Tricia from Little Cottage on the Pond decided to liven up her childhood doll house with a few touches of Rustic Charm.
One of the things my mom kept all these years is the doll house we played with when we were kids. I love that I can pop upstairs and rearrange furniture- seriously, as an adult it is so relaxing to just disappear into a lovely miniature world!
I decided to crack open a can of Rustic Charm to give a couple of miniature tables a fresh new look. These were so easy to paint using a small brush giving them three coats of paint and just a bit of clear wax to finish them off.
I styled each one using the decorations from the "sewing room". So glad my doll house mom sews, because I don't! Then I styled the second table as a bedside table complete with French phone.
This was a super easy project that would be fun for both kids and kids-at-heart to do!
Hi! I'm Tricia from the blog Little Cottage on the Pond. I am passionate about creating a home that looks lovely, but doesn't have to break the bank to do it!I love to paint old pieces and especially repurpose pieces in new ways to add character to our little cottage. I am super excited to be sharing my first blog post/how to using Country Chic Paint with y'all today!
