This is exciting news!
Sometimes, a black chalkboard won't cut it. Sometimes, a chalkboard calls for a different color. With all the color options at Country Chic Paint, you can make a chalkboard any color you want! For me, I wanted a gray chalkboard. Like I have said before, I love grays and browns together and I wanted to incorporate that color combination in this chalkboard project. To make the chalkboard, I used a wood frame that we had in our garage. I loved that it had a "divider" in it. I thought it would be a great chalkboard for writing notes and lists on.
To start, Hubby cut a piece of wood and nailed it to the back of the frame.
Then, I stained the frame a dark, "Mission Oak" color.
I painted the chalkboard part of it "Hurricane".
I used a white chalk marker to write an Easter message. The white chalk, the "Hurricane" color and the dark, wood stain look so great together!
