Another beautiful armoire by Stacey from Embracing Change, adding some whimsy to a classic, vintage piece.
Hello! This is Stacey from Embracing Change guest posting today about a makeover I recently completed with my awesome Country Chic Paint! I seriously love this paint. It is A-MAZ-ING! Check this out... I scored this fabulous, but boring vintage armoire off of Craigslist.
I was thrilled to find it because pieces like this are always sought after. I am fortunate to live a mile from a college campus and this happened to belong to a college student looking to graduate in the spring. I will surely help you move out ;o) My vision was to keep her neutral and to add a little whimsy. Country Chic's Paint in Simplicity:
I love its pure white innocence. I added a little whimsical touch by painting the inside with some mint and adding gold polka dots.
I am in love.
Thanks for stopping by :O)
My name is Stacey and I blog about my creative endeavors at Embracing Change. I dabble in blogging about my family and my faith as well as some crafts and recipes although my blog is primarily about painting and bring old and ugly furniture back to life. I love finding an old, ugly piece of furniture and making it pretty and new. It is my creative passion! My day job is being a mommy to two sweet girls and married to a pastor working alongside of him in ministry. Painting is what I do in my free time and for fun. My hobby has developed into a side creative endeavor as well and I have established The Blessed Nest whereby I now sell my creations to those that also have a love for all old things made new!
